Adventures around the house

“And when the danger passed, and the people joined together again, they grieved their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed.”

– Vella

It’s hard to reflect on things when were still in the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic, but I have no doubt that when society experiences something like this together, we’ll certainly grow together.

I’m reaching my soul out to all who are hurting, in whatever way that may be taking shape right now. Just like many of us, I’ve been trying to maintain internal peace and keep myself occupied.

Here are just a few random things that have been keeping me busy (and more intellectually stimulated than scrolling through social media or an outright Netflix binge) during quarantine.

  1. Take a trip to underwater worlds with this list of ocean livestream webcams I compiled!

  2. Lots of people are turning to puzzles as an at-home activity, but have you ever wondered how they’re made? Find out here.

  3. Push your yoga practice with this yoga sculpt workout!

  4. Seek peace of mind, meditate with Headspace.

  5. Make a TikTok! Let lose, do a dance, have a laugh. Just have fun!

  6. Check out one of these thought-provoking shows

    1. The Outsider (HBO): A Stephen King novel turned series, this show embarks on what seems like a straight forward murder investigation that leads down an entirely unknown path.

    2. Little Fires Everywhere(Hulu): Based on the book by Celeste Ng, this story explores the slowly explosive clash of two families.

    3. Self Made (Netflix): The story of the first female self-made millionaire, who also happened to be African American.
