2018 reflections| 2019 resolutions

2018 was a year of tremendous growth for me. I’ve learned so much about myself, my desires, and my values.
I’ve grown to appreciate the strength of the relationships that I have with my friends and family. The more I grow the more I find that these are really central to my happiness and how connected I feel to the world around me.
This past year I truly began to pursue my passions, follow my dreams, and put down strong roots. I know who I am and how I want to go forward with my life.
I hope to stay grounded in my passions and values this new year. I hope to sink my roots deeper and continue to spread my branches in a way that wraps around the desires I’ve discovered within myself.
I’m really and truly blessed to have people who I love that love me and to do work that I find meaningful. That be said, here are the resolutions I have going into 2019!
  • work on time management, procrastinate less
  • establish morning and nightly routines that incorporate light exercises and reading (healthy body, healthy mind!)
  • focus on my family, call and visit more often.
  • get my finances together (debt, savings, etc.)
  • do a research project in my field of study
