There is never a bad time to sit down and set goals, which is why I’ve taken the time to do exactly that in the beginning of this spring season. My buzz word for this spring is intentional. The goal is to live with purpose and be deliberate in my day to day actions.
Living intentionally is a broad goal, but no doubt something we all strive for consciously or subconsciously. How exactly do I plan on staying consistently motivated and inspired? I’ll keep it short and sweet for you!
Improve communication, especially with the people you love. These are the people we tend to be short and impatient with.
Practice being encouraging. Encouraging of others, but more importantly encouraging of yourself. It’s easy to be your biggest critic, so try being your biggest fan every once in a while.
And last but not least, revisiting an old goal of mine, honing in on morning and nightly routines. This is one of the best ways to set your intentions. Grab coffee or tea, read something motivational (try this little book of encouragements every morning), recite affirmations (link to mine right here), and do some light stretches. Step one to living intentionally starts by taking care of mind, body, and soul. Step two is to take those intentions out into the world.
