Last week was the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, and I felt like I had a lot to celebrate surrounding this wonderful, awe-inspiring planet.

This year I was part of an exciting project launch with the Smithsonian Institute’s ocean education platform, the Ocean Portal. To inspire hope and promote earth optimism, we created an interactive map that highlights ocean conservation success stories from all around the world. 

It was exciting to be a part of this large project, especially in a time where the world needs something to be optimistic about.

To celebrate Earth Day in brief  here on my blog, I’ve decided to release this free, downloadable Eco Enlightened Pocket Guide!

We should do our best to appreciate the planet everyday, not just on Earth Day.
